What is Sculptra?
Sculptra® is an injectable filler that, over time, helps fill in depressed areas of fat atrophy (loss). Unlike most injectable fillers, where the injected substance fills the depressed or insufficiently full areas to improve facial contours, Sculptra® works by actually thickening the skin to restore volume to those areas. Sculptra® results are not immediate as with many fillers, but in clinical studies, results lasted up to 2 years.
